This book contains 3 illustrated bilingual children’s stories in Spanish and English: Lions and Tigers, The Bison, and Bears. The stories tell of the excitement, and sometimes of the confusion that both animals and humans feel when they see each other. The animals tell of their geographic origins and how they were captured by white men with the collaboration of black people. Presently they find themselves in a zoo, and they are talking about their experiences with humans, and how to know and understand each other. Sometimes it’s difficult because there has been little contact, and the lack of knowledge from one to the other is obvious, especially from humans.

Este libro contiene 3 cuentos ilustrados para niños en español y en inglés: Leones y Tigres, El Bisonte, y Osos. Los cuentos tratan sobre el entusiasmo, y a veces la confusion que sienten los animales y humanos cuando se ven los unos a los otros. Los animales hablan sobre su lugar de origen y cómo fueron capturados por hombres blancos con la colaboración de gente negra. En la actualidad se encuentran en un zoológico, y están discutiendo sobre sus experiencias con los humanos, y cómo conocerse y comprenderse mejor. A veces es difícil porque ha habido poco contacto, y se hace evidente la falta de conocimiento de uno hacia el otro, especialmente de parte de los humanos.
